it's a very good shot... i like this one because on this i can see much more like a on usual photo, i mean so it's not usual picture for me... u catch fantast. moment and gr8 composition with nice toning... soft, nice and quiet... i like this fog on trees and snow flakes on her hair... realy good shot...

Basil, the photo is full frame: it's an old 6 X 7 cm b/w negative. I've tried to crop it into a square, but i didn't want to lose the texture of the coat, so i left it that way. thanks for the critique!

This inspires so much emotion in me, the detail on her coat, the sharpness of the bird, and how it contrasts with the mute-ness of the surroundings is incredible. I can just imagine the silence (the special sort of silence in a deserted snowscape). Bringing back fond memories of hiking through Snake-pass in the snow! Thank you so much
